    Default Help picking new mobo

alright, I'm having issues with my comp, namely random freezing and BSOD'ing. I tried swapping video cards, memory, even a fresh install on a new hard drive with no change. So I'm pretty sure its a motherboard or cpu issue. I need some help picking out a new one.

needs to have 4 DDR2 slots, at least 1 pcie x16 for my radeon hd 3870x2. cpu fan isnt required as I'm going to swap over my WC system. socket 775, intel preferred. no onboard video is nec, onboard audio is. my current board is an Intek d955xbk with a Pentium D 820. If I can get a new mobo to work with my current proc, that'd be ideal, otherwise, a new mobo/cpu combo will be fine. I'd like to keep it under $200.

I've looked around and found a bunch of good ones, but I figured I'd come here for advice on a brand of board. OCing capabilities arent needed, but wouldnt hurt.

let me know what you guys come up with
