    "standard composite AV Out"

I'm guessing 320x240, no need for any higher when the source is composite.

It uses an LED bulb so I doubt it's expensive. You could DIY the replacement too. It says life is 20,000hrs. so it's got a while.

    Part1
    Part2

This should help answer some of your questions (you know the ones you don't have yet )

480x320 is not terrible.. certainly good enough for low res video viewing, from maybe an Ipod source.

    I am using Acer's K10 pico projector.
It is designed to be small enough to be carried along with a laptop, enabling users such as travelling sales staff to give presentations at a customer site.
The K10 pico projector is available from Acer's web site, or via Acer resellers. It is backed by a two-year carry-in warranty, with a 90-day warranty covering the lamp.

Oh great a one poster trying to advertise.
It's like JFK announcing the moon mission. He had no expertise in space travel, and no way of knowing if it would work. He just announced "we're going to the moon" and then they made it happen because everyone was on the same page and working towards the same goal. If he had said "well, let's get some people in space, and we'll see how far out we can get, and if I find someone to make a rocket strong enough, we could possibly approach the moon's orbit and maybe land" it wouldn't have happened.
