Dont buy it. The AMD 4400+ which has 1mb cache also like the FX-60 can be overclocked out of the box to 2.6Ghz. And with some after market cooling or better yet water cooling, the card can go up to like 3Ghz. Which will give you the same speed and perfromance as the FX-60 but with half the cost.

Put it this way, you're paying for an ultimate CPU (literally) with an unlocked multiplier which the 4400+ doesn't have.

it may seem like it doesnt make a diffrence i dont know but what i do know is the the FX is made from better silicon (its more pure silicon) better transisters ect....along with the unlocked multiplier and if you water cool it you could get it up to 3.3 to 3.5 ghz

what? all these procs are made the same O_o read my post here: http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/f...17&postcount=7

I'm to lazy to copy-paste it plues don't need to write it twice in the same forum.

Now I'll admit that the multi's are unlock in the FX line but that is because they connected the wire to the pins. In the X2 when mounting the Si to the substrate they leave those wires off, but the chips are almost the same just diffrent flaws that make them run diffrently.
