    Default advice for a liquid cooling noob

    im a noob in the sense of which ones the best and worst, i can assemble one. i would just like to know which is the best, now, i dont wanna go extreame and water cool everything im just thinking my CPU im going to be upgrading to a phenom 2 x4 940 in november and i wana do the research now so i can start saving up ( im a post high school grad and waiting for my college term to start january...i feel like an idiot signing up for the spring semesters - will be going for computer repair and maintenance so i can get licensed and have my own mod shop in the future-)

    Hay, the mod shop sounds great.

    By far stay away from pre built kits, there is always a weak spot on them.

    Also if you want reliablity dont buy anything plastic.

    I love swiftech block for the CPU and have never bought any else. I also enjoy paying the 60 or so to have a full GPU black and i just normally go with what ever is fitting my card at the time.

    danger den is always a god shop to buy from, if your in the UK overclockers UK both extremely good if you need to have them shipped some where and dont mind paying the price.


    Just some top tips really. I dont fully understand what you are asking tho

    thanks, but im asking what really is the best type and brand of liquid cooling systems im getting a new CPu in a few months and i need to save up, plus i was considdering liquid cooling

    check out this guide for more info. there are many good brands out, swiftech, DD, XSPC, EK, Dtek, Heatkiller.
