im looking at a thermaltake armor + and a coolermaster cosmos 1000. their both the same price but im wondering which is better at cooling on air? or are they just the same and i should choose on aesthetics?

I would definitely get the Cosmos, hands down. I don't know about cooling, but I would bet there isn't much difference. I'd worry mostly about HOW you cool, rather than just airflow. If you want better temps, upgrade your heatsink or start watercooling.
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

i own the amour + and the only reason i went with it was for the 10 PCI slots. otherwise i wish i went for something else. there is no room for water cooling, but air was fine. the biggest cooler i had was a Arctic cooling Freezer 7 pro.

I'm running the first gen armor and love it. tons of space, and plenty of room for watercooling...you must be doing something wrong

looks like plenty of room to me

love your daul mon set up lol, i think i may go with the armor + because the cosmos doesnt have a side window and you have to buy another side panel just to have it, and ive always been more a fan of thermaltake anyway but i hear the size becomes a dissadvantage when it comes to cables, ( not managemnt that thing has to be the best case for CM ) they may ust be too short, but mine are pretty damn long so lol how is the cooling in it though? im an air fan, i have a ton of scythe fans in my current case would i have to transfer em?

i've kept the stock fans and not had issues, there is the 140mm in front for the hdd's and rear 120mm. there is options for 1x 120mm in the top. and 2 at the bottom, but you need to remove the hdd slots. in the pic above you can see 1 is missing and in the other is an hdd.

then there is the 135mm (maybe bigger, can't remember) in the side window.

the only problem is the case is metal so it's heavy.

i had to cut holes for my cables to make them decently neat. as you can tell i am mainly about water cooling but once i get my gpu back in i have various fans around the case for the mobo. i also leave the side panel off.

thanks, lol weight isnt a problem though my sagitta 2 case is almost 80 pounds full anyway, and i know about the bottom removable HDD's. im kinda intrested in using two of my scythes to pulls a crapload of air through the bottom and another for the spare one on top you mentioned does anyone have upclose pics of the armor + stripepd down? ( side panels off optional HDD bays off and a veiw of the top optional fan vent?)
