I'm an ATI guy. For reasons I won't get into, they're my first choice for video hardware, and I've never been disappointed by them. Having said that, they could really use some of the marketing personnel and budget that Nvidia has. When was the last time you saw an ATI advertisement that was a fraction as cool as Nvidia's? It was this superb marketing machine that drew me to the source of today's review: the Cooler Master NV690.

Would I be able to put AMD and ATI hardware in there?

Absolutely. I don't own a single Nvidia or Intel product myself. The case is in no way Nvidia specific, it's just marketed with their color scheme and logo.
“Do not trust people like me. I will take you to museums, and parks, and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth. I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible, and when I leave you will finally understand why storms are named after people.”

If you removed the logo would there be mesh underneath?

I would believe so. One of my friends bought this case for his AMD/ATI build partially for the irony, but I'm sure that it being on sale also had a lot to do with it.

The acrylic accents are gorgeous. If I needed a case, I'd pry the front badge off there and wedge in my two-year-old DAAMIT gaming rig.

Which I'll be upgrading soon with dual (used) 8800GTs.

I'm not so much an ATI guy as a good-deal guy.

Gee, it damn sure took me long enough to find and add the origin of the first quote...
