Are céramique-based solutions out of the question?
Edit: I'd like to see...
TIM Consultants T-C Grease 0098
OCZ Technology Freeze
Those are supposed to be the highest of the high-end solutions. Then in second place there is...
Innovation Cooling Seven Carat Diamond
Arctic Silver 5
Zaward HSC-G

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.
I'll personally attest the TIM Consultants stuff is good.
I wanna see some homemade stuff, though.
I'm all in for the homemade diamond powder in silicone. I would be willing to make a batch and send some in for review.
d_stilgar. Get with Kayin about that. He has a lot of good advice about powder sizes and how many variations in size would be best. If you make some you can send him some if you would like.
Keep the suggestions coming guys. Anything Arctic Silver is out as of right now. We would like to review some of the other brands out there.

Coolaboratory Liquid Metal Pro and LM pads.
MX-3, anything Shin-Etsu (my personal experience with them is very positive,) the TIM Consultants stuff, and I wanna see a real showdown versus white silicone grease. I want one with lapped coolers and CPUs, and contact patches-all that stuff. There's a lot of people who do not believe that TIMs matter (in fact, I know of a tech mod for a gaming forum who tells people not to worry about TIM, just get a big cooler) and this would go a long way towards dispelling the myth.
I would like to see ZALMAN ZM - STG1 Thermal Compound but i dont know much about Thermal Compound but am learning
MX-2, MX-3, Indigo Xtreme, if they have it for said socket.

ZeroTherm's compound seems worthy.
