These bugs come every year about this time. We cut their tree down a few years back which was a host to about 10,000 of them. I guess they found another tree to inhabit.
If your wondering, all those ones in the picture are dead !

It's like JFK announcing the moon mission. He had no expertise in space travel, and no way of knowing if it would work. He just announced "we're going to the moon" and then they made it happen because everyone was on the same page and working towards the same goal. If he had said "well, let's get some people in space, and we'll see how far out we can get, and if I find someone to make a rocket strong enough, we could possibly approach the moon's orbit and maybe land" it wouldn't have happened.
Those look like june bugs to me. I thought just a few of them were annoying lol.

Yep, they'll be around for a week or two, and then they'll mysteriously disappear. You'll probably forget about them until next year, same time. There's nothing that can be done about them as literally thousands can hatch out of a single nest...and I'll bet there's several nests around there.
I'll procrastinate tomorrow.
I take my baseball bat to them. its fun.
