Default My Brother Is A Genius

He's been running his new Propus AMD Athlon X4 without the motherboard screwed in. I swear to you this is true. We just were taking it apart to steal the harddrive to use elsewhere and found out.

Once again, SHORT STORY: My brother forgot the motherboard screws. Yes ALL OF THEM.

    It's still running, somehow...

Edit: Didn't notice my typo in the title. Should be BROTHER. If a mod would like to fix it would be much appreciated.

I routinely lay boards on my desk and run them. Black glass desk, just hang the PCI brackets over the edge. Been doing it close to a decade now.

This was in a metal case. The standoffs weren't beneath the holes; the motherboard had shifted 3-4mm

yikes; he's lucky the board hasn't shorted. One tiny slip the wrong way, and...no more computer.

i retunly have one screw in the mobo, non in cards, non in HDD's and one is CD/DVD, i sold a machine once,

"Be careful, the Mobo has one screw in it, the HDD's aren't screwed in so don't lean it back, oh and BTW theres 6 SCSI drives sitting on the floor of the case because im lazy (Full tower with 2 PSU's) don't lean it forward as the DVD jukebox (Held 5 DVD's at any one time) was held in with selotape!"

    No lie.

Mary had a little lamb. It bumped into a pylon. Ten thousand volts went up its arse and turned its wool to nylon!
