    Default Windows 7 Wireless Issues

I just ugraded my Sony Vaio laptop to Windows 7 from Windows XP but the wireless won't work. I am typing this up from my laptop but through a wired connection. I did turn on the wireless thing on the side of my laptop but it still won' work. I attached a photo to show my problem:

Did you get the wireless driver through Windows or from Intel? Try simply disabling/re-enabling through device manager. Failing that, download the most recent driver for it from Intel, uninstall the device and reinstall it with the new driver.
    I'll procrastinate tomorrow.

Most laptops have a keyboard key combo to enable/disable the wifi. Usually something like Fn+F2 or something like that.

Also, check in the bios to make sure the wifi isnt disabled in there. In my Dell XPS, I can kill the wifi and/or bluetooth from the bios.
