    Question No signal?

I started up Archangel...everything turns on (HSF, and other fans) and i can hear the hard drive boot but that's about it. The monitor turns on then says no signal. The led on the mobo blinks. I've already tried taking out the vga cable and reinstalling it.

Is there onboard video on the MBB? If so it's probably defaulting to that.

Try plugging the monitor into that instead. If that works, then go into the BIOS, and there should be a settings somewhere to use the PCIe slot as the primary output.

I tried with a video card and the onboard video, it's not the monitor because i'm using it right now with the family computer.
The led on the MBB blinks when it's on.
And when i press the reset button the led turns off and then starts blinking again.

One thing that i have to change is the ODD, the activity led stays on all the time, when i press the eject button it doesn't do anything.

hmmm, sounds like it's hanging on the early boot sequence... do you have a system speaker hooked up? If not, try hooking one up and see if it gives you any beeps. Sounds like you might have some bad RAM.

Indeedy - get a system speaker on there and it sound give you a pattern of long and sort beeps to identify the problem.

It's a separate speaker from those--its a header on the motherboard that you need to connect a speaker into.
