unfortunately we never really get snow around here, always stuck with freezing rain tho, i miss living in the mountains in new mexico, go to sleep with no snow, and wake up to a foot.

Dear Ponderosa Families and Staff,
This is Principal Moore. I am calling to inform you that school will be closed on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Due to the freezing temperatures and poor road conditions, District busses will be unable to operate. This combined with continued power outages and falling trees has led to the decision to close school for a second day.
Once again, Ponderosa will be closed on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. We appreciate your cooperation. More information will be sent regarding when and if we will make up the two snow days.

Lol, over here in Australia we get temperatures up to 40 round this time of year. And for those wondering, thats 40 degrees Celsius, not Fahrenheit

We've been getting a little dusting here. After 2 days we're at probably about 6". Little tiny snow pellets really instead of flakes. Temps are dropping too, checked weather.com today while I had to run the Drive Thru today and it said outside felt like 8 below. Really did feel like it.
