Playstation LCD - how to configure for VGA?

A while ago I thought someone had posted a walkthrough for converting a Playstation One lcd screen into a standard VGA monitor. Does anyone still have that info? I couldn't find it with a quick search, although I may have overlooked something.

Its funny you happened to ask that. I spent some time this weekend going thru several posts on Gruntville and Bit-Tech covering that very subject!!!

Malatory is working on this for his Spider case mod. I think he ran into a little trouble with the Video card and the Sync for his... I'm sure he'll answer any Q's you have on this. If there are no links in his log here go look at his log on gideontech I know that there some links to information there.

I know for sure its on Gideontech plus info on the Thrustmaster LCD for the PSOne.

I really have not played with it much since my last post about it. I do know not everyone is able to get it working under the Arcade settings some have used the flat 640x400 more and it has worked.

the Link off of Bit-tech to startech or starfire site is worth reading as well.

Cool I would try that but I am running a bit low on dosh at the mo after building my latest monster I will post the specs later!
