Thread: What's your current and future monitor?

Default What's your current and future monitor?

Mine's a year-old Viewsonic 19" LCD, VG1930wm, 1440x990 resolution. It has built-in tinny speakers that I sometimes turn on to make my audio "2.2" (the display's speakers functioning as front-center audio). Prior to this, I used a refurb Sony Trinitron 17" CRT. Moving to LCD was my best hardware ugprade so far! Even the wife and kid were happy A year or two from now I want to move to FullHD 1920x1080 22" LCD. What's your current and planned upgrade monitor?

Currently using an Acer x243 24" FullHD monitor plus a Samsung Syncmaster 17" 4:3 format for secondary work, am looking to upgrade this year to a Samsung ToC 26" as my main, unless I find a better deal in the meantime.

Currently using 3 19" generic Acer monitors, non-wide. I plan to get 2 24" wide screens down the road, hopefully this year.

I'm currently using an Acer 22", but I'm hoping to find a 32" 720p plasma television for my next one.

Compaq P1100 on the right, NEC MultiSync P1150 on the left (secondary, model unrelated to the Compaq). Dual 21" CRTs. They use a fair bit of power and take up the whole desk, but they were inexpensive and have better image quality than most LCDs did up until a couple years ago. I'm keepin' 'em until they die.

My main monitor is a Asus 21.5" 1080p, and my secondary is a Westinghouse 19" 1440x900. I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon because I picked up both monitors within the last year. However I would like to get a Mimo 7" usb monitor to use as a secondary for my laptop.

I have an Acer 22" as well, want to purchase a 32" tv as well for movie viewing as thats pretty much all I do on my computer. the 22" will get relegated to FPS gaming and a secondary monitor.

Primary screen: 22" Silicon Graphics CRT @ 1600x1200
Secondary screen: 15" Iiyama lcd 1024x768 (for mail and instant messaging)

    oops, forgot future screens:
Probably a 22" (or more) flat-screen thingy for primary. Don't have the money now though...
