Wanted: AM2 CPU + DDR2 RAM

Hey,

So I got a new motherboard thinking I would have money left over for the CPU. Wrong. I really need an AM2 processor that can handle 3D model applications decently. I don't need the fan and heatsink if that helps the cost for shipping. I have barely any money, so I'm hoping someone out there with one is willing to barter. I'm located in Winter Haven, FL for what it's worth. Also if anyone has any DDR2 RAM (Preferably equal to or greater than 2GB) I'd be more than willing to make some offers for that. Please help a brother out, I'm getting tired of using a Socket 939 @ 1.8ghz. Thanks in advance guys!

I have an iPod 30gb with headphones and charger, a PS2 with 15 games controller and memory cards, and a 6 megapixel camera.

I'm more worried about getting you up and running with something better than a 3000+ Winchester. (Yes, I know what processor you have.)

There were only a few 1.8 GHz processors, and the only one widely available was the 3000+ Winchester. Simple math. They clocked like whoa too.

Well, I doubt I'm going to just ditch the 939, I can use it for some other stuff. Main reason I wanted the AM2 board is because I can't use the 5750 I have collecting dust at the moment. It wasn't cooperating with the 939 after ordering a replacement so I figured it was the motherboard. Anyways Kayin, I'm going to PM you some info. Thanks.

Ah, Dead motherboard? That sucks man. I wish I had an extra one laying around, I could've just traded that. All I have is my current one though, and the motherboard that needs the RAM and CPU. Actually, if you want, I can trade you my motherboard, ram, and cpu + fan just so you have something for the time being if you'd like. It's up to you though. It's not much, I think there's 2gb Ram, and it's NForce 4. I also have an old ATI x700 in there that your welcome to. The PS2 is still an option though if you want to trade for it. I checked the prices on the used versions of just 4 out of the 15 games I have, and I got a total of 50$. The 4 I looked at was the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection, which has 1-3, and Devil May Cry 3 SE. So if you plan on selling it to a friend, you might consider raising the price so you can buy yourself a new Motherboard ;-). Anyways, if you still want to barter let me know, if not I understand.
