Thread: GPU overheating?

    Default GPU overheating?

Whenever I play GPU intensive, my screen will go black and say no connection. The sound will loop the sound for thelast half a ssecond or so. The only way to get back to windows is a hard reboot. Is my video card overheating or there another underlying problem?

A quick way to see if it's overheating is to download Furmark. You can stress the card while monitoring the temps in real time. If it crashes you'll know exactly what the temperature was when it happened. I don't know what kind of card you have but temperature tolerances for different GPUs are fairly easy to find.

I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible, and when I leave you will finally understand why storms are named after people.”
