Thanks everyone on the compliments on the fan grill.
And look, wow, I'm a feature now. Thanks guys!

Yeah, you can kinda guess the theme of red, white, and black going on now.
But ... I still have a couple of surprises for color on the inside and back of case.

Doing more sanding on the case door this morning. Looks like it will come out
just the way I wanted it. I'll get rid of the giant, imprinted logos, and the
ugly side vent will have to go to make room for the Lamborghini style window.
I'm going to do the window in smoked plexi, (keeping the red & black look outside) for a clean look, without the normal trim (you'll see soon).
I'll post more pics when finished.

Ummm yeah. What I would really like is a stencil of a Bull with flames coming out his nostrils. Have any stencils of that?

You know, I saw that about a month ago. But it lacks the vent intakes. When I first saw the Vento, I thought it was ugly. But the front intakes slowly won me over, I think because they were so unique. This version looks more like an Alien head then an auto. Which would be a good case for an "Alien" theme case.

Looks to me like the helmet of the dog "leader" on the Power Rangers SPD.

My son is a RABID Power Rangers fan, and has multiple toys. You learn quickly who the characters are, as well as what they look like so you dont make that mis-step and buy the wrong thing while @ the store!

    Finishing up the door.

Some low spots need a little more Bondo.

Now, sanded again, and applying putty to small pits.

Now, I just need to sand off putty, and start the template for the window.
The window will be the exact same for both sides of the case. So a template is needed.

Some of the black intake plastic is completely level with the door, though it doesn't look like it, it is. After some sealer is applied, it will show it totally level.

Not too worried about the back, plastic black trim. It will be covered in black leather.

Both doors now have had the giant ASUS logos removed.

    The other side ...

    Putty applied to pits ...

Decided to use a flexible primer with the doors,
since they will be used and flexed while taking on/off.

First coat to the main side ...

    Then the other side ...

More coats to both sides ...

Waaaalaa ... ASUS logo, and side intake, gone!

A few more coats of primer, then a clear base coat.
A little sanding, then I'll cut out the windows for both sides.
