Now, how to make a Lamborghini window .... hhmmmmm
I don't know, but I'm going to go with a simple design. One I shouldn't be
able to mess up too badly. I'll start with a template because I need 4
windows, all exactly the same. Two for each side of the plastic shell, and
two matching ones for the inside steel case.

This one seems to fit the best, look the best,
and is as close as I can get to a Lamborghini style window as I can draw.

Cut the template so I can position it on all pieces.

Taped up and already drawn on ...

Check both of them to make sure that they are even.

All cuts are inside the line. Now I need to sand it down to the line, to make it nice and even and smooth.


Next up ... Inside shots of the door.
This is where I get to put the plexi ... fun.

Lots of little cuts needed. Trying to keep as many places as possible to make sure the plastic snaps back onto the metal door.

It went a lot easier then I thought.

I started to cut the plastic around the inside of the window. It actually only
took about 15 minutes with the Dremel cutter and the sander. I now have
enough room for the plexi. I may have to sand down a few more points for
it to sit flush with the panel. I left all the important connections,
and I'll just cut the plexi to wrap around them.

Now, I need to hand sand the window and then get it ready for paint before I
put in the plexi. I've decided to go with a two tone red paint job on the
doors. I'm going to do a complete pearl red, then ... on the bottom part (where the giant ASUS logo used to be), I'm going to do a candy red blend. Then clear coat it.

I saw this two tone blend on a car, and it looked great.
