you can get a 21 inch dell ultra sharp for like 450
right now I think you can get a dell 2005 (20") for about 350) Ebay rebate and another 2% off that via CDA (I think thats what its called).
^^^ way better deal
ya as far as flat panels go, i dont think u can beat the price to performance ratio put out by dell. ive used them for some time now and have never had any issues. although their comps suck they make very high quality monitors that im a real fan of. try this link ( i think most of these are at the price range u wanted or else get a 20" on ebay) http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...ctlisting.aspx
ooooh....thanks for the link!!! at work I use a 19" Dell and a 17" Princeton. I really like the Dell but I am not sure the specific model number.
They were all in my price range.
I am a big ebay guy...but when it comes to somethign like an LCD panel...they better have a DOA return policy. I dont think I would feel comfortable buy something like that form just anyone on ebay....
Thanks!!!!
Kyle
dont get a normal dell remember, its the ultra sharp seris
the ultra sharps are nice but if ur not gonna be gaming on it its really not neccesary, however it really depends on if ur graphics card is good enough, if ur graphics card isnt that great the monitor type isnt gonna matter and will display a really poor image on some monitors, but if u do have a nice graphics card the higher end monitors (like the ultra sharps) will produce a noticibly clearer and more vivid image.
^^^ you mean for 3d rendering right? All 2d graphics show the same thing, Im pretty sure there is no way a 7900 is better than a 5200 at 2d graphics(except for videos)
^^^ thats right (good point), but many applications use 3d (videos, image editing, gaming, and things of that nature) so if u do alot of those programs go with the ultra sharp monitor, and if thats the reason ur buying that monitor, be sure u have a graphics card that can handle it or ull end up being underwhelmed by its performance.
