    wow thanks guys!!

The styrene sheet should be in tomorrow, then I'm dropping it off to Tom over at Hydro Cutter for the magic to happen! I spent a few hours last night reworking my sketchup model into separate panels with dimensions to give to him, but I have access to AutoCAD 2007, and he uses .dxf files to cut. So I'm going to take my sketchup models and try to transfer them into AutoCAD to make his job easier (and cheaper for me lol).

I was going to get some LED wiring done last night, but I've spent almost 2 days straight working on a birthday present for the wife Look for a worklog on that in a week or so in the Misc Projects section. Just a teaser...it involves card games, acrylic and carbon fiber

ok so I've got a slight setback. I was going to have the pieces water-jet cut, but something broke on the truck (ah the joys of owning an 11-year old vehicle ) so now I'm short the funds needed to do that, so it looks like I'll be making everything by hand. I've got plenty of material though. I got a 48"x72" sheet of white 0.115" styrene from Total Plastics who happens to be about 15 mins from me

I should have the plastic tomorrow. Expect an update later this weekend

Ha, 14 and 30 year old vehicles here! ...and yes, both of them have something wrong with them right now...so I guess I have nothing to brag about.

Seriously though, that sucks...I hate unexpected repair costs.

Umm. my "newest" vehicle is a '96 so definitely feel ya there. And to think I used to enjoy working on cars/trucks, now it feels like a fight just to keep em going.

alright so I got some cash from doing some side jobs and dropped the styrene off at the water-jet shop today

Should be next week sometime that I'll have it all in and I can get going!. I was going to start wiring up my LEDs and such, but I'm waiting for my small heat shrink to come in from dealextreme.
