Default Got a cool gadget, how to use it

I got one of these CYB-003 boards with a CY325 LCD display module for free from a co-worker. The thing has its own power supply (tho it is onlt 12v and 5v, so can probably be adapted for a pc power supply) and gets its signal from a parallel or serial connection.

    CY325: http://www.controlchips.com/cy325.htm
    CYB-003: http://www.controlchips.com/cyb003.htm

If I can figure out how to make this thing work, I figure it might make either a nice temp display panel, or maybe something fancier, perhaps like the panels built into the logitech keyboards?

Size-wise, the 325 screen is a lot larger than I expected, larger than a 5.25 bay.

If anyone has any experience with these or similar, let me know. I will be slowly poking and prodding at it to see what I can do. (First up, find the software!)

I will look at this some tonight and see if I can answer some of your questions.
