I have started this in another forum. However, I thought I'd share it here.
I bought this case at a local thrift store. PIII 866, 128MB PC100 SDRAM, 20GB HDD. Not bad, but.....
Just look at the size of this thing! I paid $20 for it!
And from the front:
Shhhh.... This is how you add things!
Look at that expansion room!
Can anyone say "stealth hot-swap bay"?
And it's so simple to open it, if you know where to look:
Talk about spacious! Don't know what the blue thing is, PCI cooler?
However, it's simple to open. Note this:
And this.
To this:
And again.
The board and cooler..
Now, the PSU cage is totally nice.
Remove this screw....
Yank on this....
Whoop. Gotta pull cables.
Once again. Totally AWESOME!!!
Better mugshot of the cooler.
The RAM. 1GB total.
Well, this is how things are mounted.
A special type of screw goes on the front two spots, and a third mounts it.
This is your OS HDD bay, because it's an always-on, needs the ventilation.
Your power board.
Left side panel?
One or two screws to remove.
Meh, a bit bland. Might make for OK wire routing, haven't checked for that.
Toolless PCI bay.
From the inside.
Simply remove the screw....
To get this.
Final treat. The sound card. Creative: the best producers of audio products, period.
Model number.
