Yes it does. It's anodized but it's still aluminum.
“Do not trust people like me. I will take you to museums, and parks, and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth. I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible, and when I leave you will finally understand why storms are named after people.”

For a good res, I recommend Danger Dens Stuff. I have their 5.25" single bay res and love it. They have pretty round ones too. I also have their fill port res (Thanks BoB) and IMO it is a must have when filling and bleeding a system. I can fill my DD loop and fully bleed it in less than 10 minutes.

yes, even though it's anodized any small scratch will expose the aluminum. it's best to not have any aluminum in the loop period.

There he goes. Spawn-Inc, Scourge Of All Things Aluminum.
I'll bet he only drinks beer and soda out of bottles.

Lol.... well because of space and money constraints i will be going with this res

Although its mainly due to space constraints. (it has to fit in 4 5.25 bays that are mostly taken up by a radiator and a fan.)

Good Luck! Don't tighten the fittings or mounting screws too tight. Lots of people are having those res crack after a few hours / days / weeks of use due to over tightening.

lol, aluminum has its place in water cooling.
that's a great res you got and very popular, i actually have one. do as above and don't tighten the mounting hardware to tight and you will be fine.
