    Default bad memory????

hello everyone. i just bought 2 new stick of memory. its corsair ddr2 800.

    i have g skill 2gb 1066. i dont run the ram at 1066.

now the problem im having is my motherboard wont accept all of the ram. it either dosent boot or it just wont work.

earlier i had it booting with one stick of g skill in the first dim. then i tested and tried each slot. but 2 3 4 were very buggy. so does this mean my dim slots are. all the ram was tested individually and it all passed. im running 2gb stick right now.

Either the slots are bad or it's a compatibility issue. A lot of motherboard manufacturers publish a list of compatible ram for each board they make. I'd check to see if that ram is on the list, if not, try to get some that is on it.
    I'll procrastinate tomorrow.
