Are you getting this one for review?

I want to see it dropped into a hot oil fryer

It will not survive a hot oil bath. The Solo is designed to survive a typical house fire or a submersion from a flood. The heat is repelled by a special fire brick that encases the Hard drive. The hard drive is protected by a water tight anti static bag. Hot oil would melt the anti static bag once it seeped through the seem between the 2 fire brick halves.
