    Very interesting. I prefer to hit the windows key, type the name and go. There are only two programs on my task bar: Chrome and Windows Explorer.

    I've got IE8, Firefox, windows live mail, explorer, fritzing, arduino, photoshop, sketchup, tunes, occt, cpu-z, and had l4d2, mw2 and portal until steam made the shortcuts point to urls instead of .exes, so windows won't let you put them on the taskbar now...grrr

    Pretty cool but I still looks too messy for me I have only my trash can on deskstop and IE8 and iTunes quicklaunch on my taskbar.

    i have un pinned everything from my desktop, i've also put the old style quick launch back too!, it looks normal now - YAY
