Well I made some more progress today!

I started with a flame image found on google, then stretched it, outlined it and took the color out to get this:

I printed this out and cut it out to mark off the case like so:

Now due to paper size restraints I extended the flame a bit when I trace it to the case:

    And started cutting it out:
    center]
    [/center]

And with a combination of jigsaw and Dremel I got it all cut. I broke off two small parts though. The wood was very brittle from being so old, and the parts just shattered at the thin points to the point where I wouldn't have been able to glue them back on.

I then glued cloth to 4 of the 5 walls. I still need to cut out the VGA I/O ports before I glue the backside on:

I also sleeved the wiring for the 120mm intake fan:

I also trimmed the pc panel to the proper size. All I need to do with this is mount it. I may also do some kind of etching, we'll see

The last thing I did was paint all the bare wood with some flat red enamel model paint. I was thinking about leaving it bare, but it didn't fit with the theme.

That's all for now! Stay tuned

Looking good. I like the window.

I saw those cable extenders on the same site myself. If they look good on your mod, I'll definitely grab one or two in the future

I was going to get the sleeving and do it myself, but hell that 24-pin extender is only $10! It would cost more for the sleeving and be more of a hassle for me to do it lol

These are extenders though, so I need to figure out a way to turn this PSU into a modular one. I've got some ideas already

heck, if you really wanted to, you could resleeve individual wires just for a multi-colored effect on the cable.
by the way, when you get that extender, could you put it under a UV light and send me a pic or two if it glows? I was looking at some MDPC red sleeve for a fulltower scratch build I have in my head, and I want to see if this is cheaper.

You can get the NZXT extenders thru NewEgg and the shipping is much cheaper. I have been comparing them lately. It's a dollar less thru NZXT but the shipping kills you.

The fabric turned out pretty good it looks like.

I don't think their sleeving is UV red, but I'll give it a shot for ya

If you're looking for UV red try this:
    http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...roducts_id=122

use the drop-down box at the bottom to select "neon UV red"

Well I got these from Performance-PCs because I was shopping for sleeving and connectors from them anyways, and happened to notice they were selling the NZXT cables. That and PPcs just kicks ass anyways

I already saw that, and take a closer look :http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ge_scroll_id=0
the neon red is downright terrible(it's almost pink!)
I just ask if it's UV-active because the MDPC red sleeving is
