One of my favorite times of the year. Because it is way too much fun to play in the snow.

I love the snow myself - mainly because my car is an animal in it lol. Bog standard front wheel drive 1.9 non-turbo diesel estate (stationwagon to you guys on the other side of the pond) and it just doesn't care. Trundles along, doesn't slip, doesn't skid, passes other stuff sitting spinning its wheels - just drop it into 2nd (I have a real gearbox heh) and let the engine idle pull the car along... Never had a car like it in the white stuff....

The snow is so bad here in ID that they are announcing road which roads are OPEN... because the list is a lot shorter than the closed roads. So much for doing anything productive today. *gets ready to play a lot of video games *

I'm going up snowboarding tomorrow! The resort about 60miles from me has gotten somewhere around 6ft of snow. I don't know how many of you guys are in the Sacramento, CA area, but if you are and you go to Sierra at Tahoe, I'll be there tomorrow. Shoot me a PM and we can shread the slopes.

Here’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see: “We are the proud parents of a child who’s self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn’t need us promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of our car.”
