I paid a little more than that with sales tax. If you have a Micro Center nearby, get it there.

If you still have one in January/February, I will buy one from you when I get my taxes back.

I might, but I hope to have all of them gone by then.

I really would like one to use in testing but can't afford it right now. It would be a bit weird anyway because I am a AMD guy.

If you can get one to me in Australia for under $316AUD so I don't need to go into town and get one I may be interested lol. Although I am considering waiting for Sandybridge to be released early next year.

I think I might wait for it; I'm upgrading to a Q6600 to hold me over.

I'll have to double-check the conversion rate, but I'm pretty sure that I can get it to you for less than that.

Cheers mate, let me know how much and I will seriously consider it. The high end SandyBridge chips are predicted to start at around about $320USD so at the moment i'm still not sure. Because I just brought a project car I may hold off, a friend of mine is looking for a 950 so I may grab one for him.

Since I work at MicroCenter and am allowed to buy (no more than) 1 per month, I actually have been thinking of getting one and giving it away here on TBCS.

    Bad idea?

Go for it; I think pretty much everybody wants one, but can't or doesn't want to afford one. I'm not having much luck selling them on TBCS for around the price that I paid for them.
