Project: Big Green (56k.. maybe.)

This is my rig, It was my first ever custom comp and i built it a few months back. I've been slowly adding to it ever since.

The specs are...

DFI Lanparty Ultra-D NF4
AMD 3200+ 64 bit
Sapphire Radeon x850XT PCI-E
4x512 Corsair DDR400 RAM
Seagate 120GB, Sata 3.0
Rosewill 450W PSU

MODS:
4 green LED case fans
Dual UV cold cathodes (ordering second very soon)
Green UV wire sleeving + phantom wires

This is it when i first built it and i didnt care that the wires looked like a group of impaled octapi.

So today i finally had the time and patience to sleeve + hide all the wires i could. Took about 3hrs.

And dark room with the UV cathode on.

Well, thats my rig, please comment, i am looking for new ideas since i am still new to modding. I plan to watercool it within the next 6months - year.

nice job, atleast you can take the time to try and hide wires. Alot more can still be done tho(try hiding some behind the mobo). Nice job overall tho, definatly better airflow than originally.

That looks nice, you have a great big window that looks like an empty canvas, maybe you might be interested in trying some etching or graphics in there. Big improvement on the wiring too. Good job!

It's a Chenming 601, I think they are a rip-off brand of Chieftec, because it looks almost exactly like my friend's dragon. The main reason i bought it was the large amount of room to work with. I have to say i've been very pleased, it's very sturdy, and even the plastic parts in the front are very solid and dont feel like they are going anywhere anytime soon.

Another main reason i bought the case was the large window but,
I'm not exactly sure what etching looks like, and I've never really seen any graphics on windows that i liked a lot. If you have any examples, they would be appreciated.

nice case btw. i like the uv pics.

the only thing id suggest is

1: ) to sleeve even the wires you dont use. i can still see a few inches of them. besides, it adds more cool green glow effect in the dark.
2: ) paint/vinyl the inside of that case/psu/ and cage. the aluminum finish of stock cases is just revolting

but thats jsut one barts 2 cents to anothers. take it with a grain of salt if you like.
