    Or if you play at proper resolutions such as 2048x1536...
    yeah, then i would save that money on a decent monitor first, that supports at least 85hz on that resolution.

    No need to go over 80Hz in that resolution for your screen since none of the RAMDACs in consumer grade videocards can push more...

    My IIyama 22" CRT isn't maxed out with a 6800GT regarding the refresh rate in 2048x1536.

    it still doesnt change my opinion about getting dual 6800ultras its money spent for something you dont really need.

    it is a lot of fun indeed. until a week later when i realize how stupid i was spending all my money when i could have spent it on more usefull things
