Although BF3 has been known for time, it is finally coming Fall 2011!

Battlefield 3 is the true successor to Battlefield 2. Beyond our signature multiplayer, we have also included a full single-player campaign and a co-op campaign – all straight out of the box. As for fan favorite features, how does the return of jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer (on PC) sound? All this built with our powerful new game engine Frostbite 2, which you'll hear and see a lot of in the months leading up to launch. This has been on my list of 'release night' games. I've been waiting for this for a long time. [edit] BF2 is still one of my favorite games. [/edit] They damn well better not screw this up by trying to be like CoD or some crap.

EDIT: I have to figure out how to fit BF2 on my RAMDisk so I can play again!

I really hope it is as good as Battlefield 2. That was one of the first games that really got me into multiplayer as well as computer gaming and lan parties.

We still play it at lans alot of times.

Mmmmm brings me back to the days when I first played BF2 at E3 ... I was quite excited for that game and it didn't disapoint. Hopefully this wont ether.
