Thread: Show your PC!

  1. #241

    Default The in the makeing

This computer is 3 years in the making I set a change to me self to make a case with these rules
    1) it was to look as if it was made in the 1940 – 1950’s
    2) it couldn’t be made from a modern case and made to look old
    3) it had to appear to have been made with tools of it’s time
    4) it had to look aged as if been used and upgraded over time
    5) if and when using new or modern equipment on the outside of the case it had to be made to follow the fourth rule
    6) it had to have a home build look as if an inventor of its time put it to getter in his lab
    7) everything mechanical on the outside of the case had to be working no dummy parts to look cool
it had to be upgradeable for future use
    9) it had to be water cooled
    10) and virtually everything had to be modified no stock parts
    11) and the only time I could use stock parts is if I couldn’t make it my self such as water blocks ect.
Im only about 75% complete with it waiting on some parts some of these pictures are old so will post new ones soon .some parts are hard to come by like the case is from a steel tv from the 1950’s and the pump is from an air plains fuel pump .im currently working on making the hard drive ram blocks my self but not positive about how detailed I will get with it

started the ageing prosses cant look new and shiny
