    Default Project: Spider

Hey all, Ive gone for something different and purchased the Lian Li T1 Spider case After some annoying assembly it looks really good, cable management is great for its size, only downside is a gpu cant really fit...which is what im attempting to do

Im looking at a 100% modular psu, i found a nice silverstone one which will do the job. Im going to have a 100% modular one so i can modify each cable to reduce the length so theres no messy cables hanging around.

Motherboard is going to be a gigabyte 1155 mini-itx , 8 gigs of ddr3 ram and a 500gb Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive that mounts under the mobo.

So far im taking some measurements so see where i can fit these dam over sized graphics cards, the gts250 in this case which i currently own.

Im thinking of mounting the gpu directly under the mobo with a pci express extension cable, all in all this should be a interesting build.

Heres some parts im looking at using:

    Silverstone Strider Plus 600W ST60F-P

    Intel Core i5 2500k

    Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3

    Seagate Momentus XT 500gb

    Nvidia EVGA GTS250 1GIG

Lian Li T1 Mini-ITX Test Bench Black

    Any thoughts, comments welcome

    Cheers.

Hey again, Ive managed to build the graphics card mount, it sits on the rear of the motherboard tray. Theres a total of 5 nuts and bolts holding it together All supported from the IO shield and seems to be holding the weight good.

All i have to do now is change the motherboard mounts around so it faces the right way and then purchase the rest of the parts

And then a ridiculous amount of wiring

    Original case assembled:

I have to get that gpu into that tray :S

    Nakedness

    Bracket mounts:

    Mounted into mobo tray:

Finally mounted into main chassis: ....and n64 HD hiding in the background

    Thanks for reading,

    Hopefully new updates soon.

Just bolted on the hdd and slim optical drive mount. It sits underneath now because its original place is now home to the graphics card.

I was just thinking about doing a build with this case. Looks awesome, can't wait to see what it turns out like.

Just wired up the dvd drive, so now i dont have to buy a stupid slim sata adapter it works fine now.
    All thanks to allpinouts.org

    5V wired and ground

Final look, ill cut these short once i put it in the actual system, and add some more heatshrink
Ignore the black smudgy stuff thats just melted plastic holding the wires together so there a bit neat.
