    Default "Power on" Button

    This is the setup i took out of my old rig. What kind of button could i put on it? Can i unplug the 2 lil wires and just plug em into any momentary??

    little black button on centered on the bottom.


    2 wires in the back
    No genuis is a organized worker.

    PROJECT "2GHz OF THUMPIN BASS" HAS BEGUN!!!! CHEAK IT OUT IN THE "PROJECT WORKLOGS" AREA.

    Yep.

    Anything that's capable of connecting the two pins on the mobo briefly will work.

    I have one pc here, a kind of test rig at the moment. Unboxed, I turn it on with the nearest thing I can find, like the corner of a steel rule or a coin or whatever.

    That's a button from a mouse!

    But yes, anything that is a momentary switch will work. you can probably get away with other kinds too, like key, but you have to turn the key then turn it back so the computer stays on.

    Almost, it's from a laptop, but it was the mouse button.
