    Default multiple xbox's , dipped and swirled pt2 , pg 2 for updates

    hey guys , i haven't posted in a while but i thought this came out pretty cool
    my plan is to move on to bigger projects , but i figured some spare xbox parts are good to practice on

    Cool, looks a bit like polished marble or granite even, I played around with paint dipping before but obviously it's not very controllable and I couldn't quite get the look I wanted, you got closer to the look I was after

    Nice. That swirl technique is really cool looking. It almost makes me want to switch to solvents.

    On my bucket list is to try and do a swirl finish on a Guitar. very nice!

    Any solvent based paint will work. Take a container of water (big enough to fit your project) and then dump some paint in it, swirl it around with a stick, and then dunk your project. It's super easy. I almost want to buy some solvent based paints to do this and the water drop techniques.

    That's a good look, I like it. Just enough of a mod to be be custom and a conversation starter without going crazy and voiding your consoles warranty or anything.
