Nice!
That store is not too far from me.

Case Mod entries MUST have ASUS/ROG motherboard and VGA.
That rules out quite a few of us... I personally only buy evga for intel or nvidia based rigs....
Not dead yet
does my Asus Vento 3600 count? lol
That ROG board/vga limitation means all the modders are out. Funny that...
I wouldn't put the stuff in a machine I expected to use every day. Luthien's machine has been the sole exception to that-it's 11 dead boards, one that lived.
well, i could lend my asus rog gene rampage ii if anyone wanted to go... its this. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16813131371

Bah, I hate it when I see this kind of rubbish. A company trying to use your hard work and innovation as a marketing gimmick to improve THEIR bottom line. Notice that they don't even cover your expenses to get there? They say they will compensate for your travel expenses with gear, pennies for them but I am sure they will expect you to consider the retail value as your "pay". If you are tapped to come to this, I would recommend requiring them to pay you for your time and the commercial use of YOUR work for their enterprise. As any self-respecting artist should.
Almost as bad as this
Yeah, there is no shortage of people who would like to bypass the step where you pay a person for their hard work before you sell the products of that work and pocket the money. Nothing new though, this type of scheme is as old as the pyramids. Matter of fact, I think it helped build the pyramids.
