Default Intel Gigabit NIC - PCI-e

Running my server with Server 2008 R2 with WHS running on hyper-v. Even when there's no traffic on the WHS virtual server, things on the dedicated box are laggy/slow over the internet/network. I think this has to do with only having one NIC shared between the two.

That said, looking for an Intel Gigabit NIC that is pci-e. Preferably pci-e x1. They are about $27 shipped on newegg, so I was hoping someone here might have one or a few spare lying around willing to let go for cheap.

    Let me know. Thanks.

EDIT: I'd also start with an Intel 10/100 pci/pci-e if the price was right as well. Just need something to get the host and virtual off the same nic.

Default Re: Intel Gigabit NIC - PCI-e

Found a pair of Intel Gigabit PCI cards for less than half of the pci-e one on newegg. So I'll try these and if I still want a pci-e, I'll open this back up.

    Thanks.
