For me, i get sucked in for an hour or 2 usually, then go do something else, There are exceptions however. When i first played through dragon age origins I would sit and play for 8 hours straight, only stopping for sleep, work, and food..

You know that can be highly dangerous.

Deep vein thrmobsis aka DVT or a blood clot!

it's especially bad in older adults, obese individuals, people with high blood pressure and some other contributing factors i don't know about.

Don't ever let your legs "Fall asleep" while playing video games, if you feel pins and needles or a tingling sensation, you probably need to get up and move your legs around for awhile before going back to kicking dragons asses.

last person i heard about died in May 2011 at the age of 20 from it.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-14350216

but man google yeilds page after page of deaths assossiated with gaming and DVT

    scurry scurry stuff!

    Yes, mother...
That translates directly to 'You'll put an eye out!'
He stopped for sleep, work and food, it's fine.
I've unfortunately lost track of time when gaming only to find a similar amount of my life had disappeared. If the outside world doesn't interrupt me then sometimes I get lost.
    I'll procrastinate tomorrow.

OoooOO I've been sitting there playing garrysmod and felt one of my legs go asleep, when it wouldn't stop it gave me the heebie jeebies so i got up and walked around for about 20 minutes.

But garrysmod is the kind of game you can play for 10 hours straight and not even notice time pass by.
