    Default AMD Duron Computer

Hey guys, I have another computer for sale. This time, it's my grandfather's computer. He's looking to get a new computer but, wants to sell his current rig. It's in a beige ATX case w/250watt PSU.

    Specs:
    700mhz AMD Duron (socket A)
    782MB RAM
    40GB HD
    Floppy Drive
    128MB ATi Radeon 9250 (win says 9200)
    52x CD Drive
    52x32x52 CD Writer
    56kbps modem
    D-Link PCI Ethernet card

My grandpa is looking for $160 OBO. He will accept no less than $110.

I'm not trying to be nasty here, so don't take it that way but, I'd tell him that his best bet here is to donate that computer to a church or something and use it as a tax write off, it'll be worth more that way. Honestly.

Donating that PC would be the best.

Cost for new PC ~same specs:
SocketA mobo: $20 (w/built in NIC)
    Proc: ~$5 (if that)
Ram: $30 (768MB DDR200, I'm guessing the ammount of RAM you said was a typo)
    Case/PSU: $10
    Vidcard: $60
    HDD: $30
    Modem/NIC = mostly worthless

That's about $155 new. It is possible to built a WAY better PC for ~$250.

I sold a Duron 1200MHz for $35 2 years ago and that was more than I paided for it!

Ok, I'll talk to him. Maybe I'll try putting it in the paper, seeing that most people here don't know what's in a computer.
