    Default Hard drive caddy...

I want to put a 2nd hard drive (actually, i want to install an ssd with mechanical data drive) in my laptop. I have an optical drive bay, but the cheapest caddy I can find is ~$50 which is way too much to spend on whats basically an adapter... Any ideas? Model is Sony Vaio SA

According to this thread, this adapter should work fine.

Te hehe... I was googling and all i found was threads that sounded like they where sponsored. Now i just have to save up for an ssd... maybe when i sell my old net book.

Also sounds like the amazon one requires a bit of modding... sounds like a mini work log?

There were a few others listed in the thread on ebay iirc. I didn't read into the thread to see which worked best.
