    Default Freeze on boot

    Just built a new pc:
    ASrock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 mobo
    Core i5 2500k
    2x4GB Ripjaws(1600)

When i start the pc, it freezes on boot menu(were u press like f11 and stuff) and will just stay like that. Then i found out if i unplug my mic and keyboard(usb) the pc starts back up after pressing the reset button. The board gives me a code 30 but havent found a succesful answer why this is happening.

    Plz help=)

could be a bios issue, i know i have a problem right now with mine that, since flashing to newest one, mine gets stuck on loading usb controllers if i have anything but keyboard plugged in, try flashing to newest bios?

    http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.as...%20Gen3&o=BIOS

check that out, be sure to read the "how to update" thing, and if any more questions check forums, they often times have good answers, just google "update bios" and your mobo or something like that

You have to download it from the manufacturers website. Most of the ones I have seen are a .ISO file that you burn to a CD and boot from it.
