Default Looking for new Domain Registrar and DNS Service

My domain is coming up for renewal in a couple of months and the quote for 2 years to renew with DynDNS.com is USD$109, I've pretty much have said that I'll go with someone cheaper. I'm currently looking at godaddy.com for AUD$32 (I found a $5 discount code) for 2 years to transfer my domain to them and with private domain registration. Any one else I should be looking at? Also, I've heard some bad things about godaddy, do you think they should be avoided?

Might want to consider something like "freedns".

    Don't know their service, though.....
Two years. They were great. Let's make the next ones even better!

I'll write your website down on a piece of paper with a black ink pen and then put it in a folder in the drawer of my desk for 6.99$

Basically it's primarily the domain registration I need, go daddy still seems like my best bet as I want private registration.

I'm with godaddy for airbrushingtips.net. No issues with them whatsoever.

they're about on par with godaddy.com on the BBB even though they aren't accredited by the BBB.

1&1 was a good one for me when I was running my Uncle's website for his business. Never had any issues. I know someone on here did, though. (was that you Rick?)

It's what my old work used before the company went under and we never had any issues with them.

I'll ask K1dx what he uses.
