I certainly hope that it doesn't come to that. I'd hatte to have only Intel and Apple as computer choices.

You know that is the same choice right? Apple uses intel...

AMD is being driven by shareholders, not technology. This is my main problem with public companies. The focus shifts from innovative technology and customer satisfaction to paying shareholders.

I hope they make a good comeback, but taking on the mobile market is tough since there are many players.

Good luck AMD, I know right now I am rocking Intel processors (because I got a good deal), but your processors in the past have always been my favorite.

I know AMD has been doing well with Cell phones for a while now. Aren't they in PS3's and Xbox's too?

AMD won Wii U, next Xbox and possibly next PlayStation as well. These were announced a short while back.

Wouldn't Intel then be considered a monopoly? Aren't monopolies illegal? Hasn't AMD gone threw with this before?Maybe this is why they are breaking into the Dram market now.I highly doubt AMD will go under.
