Nice!

I buy all my work [neck] ties there. Just $2 each instead of $18 at a department store

We go to the thrift stores around here. I don't have any problems with used clothing as long as it is in good condition and I toss it in the wash first. I don't do used shoes, socks, underwear etc, but I'll gladly go for $6 jeans vs $30-50.
I've been keeping my eye out for mechanical keyboards but no luck yet.
Our local thrift store (DI) sometimes has extreme deals, and others, not worth it.
While $20 for an LCD is nice (not as nice as yours, the one I got), $25 for a PIII machine (nothing else included), isn't as good.
My best deal was $5 for a fully-working Micron desktop (NOT tower!), with F&F: Tokyo in the CD (yes, C... D.....) drive.
My best deal was a Razer Lachesis mouse that I got for $2. New, in box, and unopened. Sold it to my dad for $5 because his old Microsoft gaming mouse was failing and my Logitech was just fine.

A White Alps Mechanical Keyboard. An Omnikey 101, for $5. It needs to be cleaned, but every key actuates smoothly. Just waiting on an AT to PS/2 converter to arrive and then I will test it and if it works, clean it and post some pictures. I'm not going to spend the time cleaning 100+ keys if it doesn't work, but I have a feeling it will.
The adapter came in and the keyboard works great. The number pad plus sign is broken, but after checking out the switch I found it was simply the solder cracked and pulled up off the board.
So with a bit of soldering, and a whole lot of cleaning ahead of me, I'll have a decent keyboard for $5 + $3 adapter. I'll get pics up once it is fixed and cleaned up.
