    Where did Paul get the pieces for some of these cool editions for Mars City?

    Possibly military models or larger scale train parts.

    He told me that some of it came from tank model kits and I believe it was battleship type models. I would imagine that science fiction space models could be a good source as well.

    I know that the Star Wars models were mainly battle ship parts. I found when I built my sandcrawler that random aircraft parts worked ok, but what really made it look awesome were car engine model parts. I would suggest looking on ebay for "junkyard model parts" or something along those lines - that's how I found a box of car parts that was perfect for what I was building.

    i thought he just chewed them from blocks of plastic, or used his heat vision to shape them, lol.

    i like the idea of junkyard model parts, i never thought of that.

    Could toss a sheet of styrene on the laser and make a lot of little greeblies.
