Default Greetings from the Grand Canyon!

For spring break we ventured from the plains of Oklahoma to the Grand Canyon.
It was a long trip to get here, but well worth the destination.

The following was taken at sunset.. my camera doesn't like the low light stuff.

There isn't a camera made that can truly capture the majesty of these vistas. If you haven't seen it before, I can highly recommend you make the trip!

It's actually pretty amazing how much is NOT fenced in. You can walk right up to the edge in alot of places. The fences just seem to be around a few of the higher traffic paths that go to look out points.

I'm in the car now on the way back from an overnight trip to Vegas. Had a great time, wish we had more time to stay there as well. We are heading back to the Canyon, spend some time at a few of the other points and then head back home to Oklahoma.

Too bad you weren't in Vegas when I was, we could have met up! I was just there last week.
