Flame on!

Well, here's my first real attempt at realistic fire. What did I use? A microsoft mouse, Auto Air paints, rattle can clear. This will probably get sanded down and redone. There are parts of the mouse I'm not happy with, starting with the black base. If it turns out nice when I redo it, I'm going to talk to a buddy of mine who has a body shop, and see if he'll put some real clear on it for me.

I have to thank Rick Primeau of Primo Customs for being an awesome teacher. Though I haven't been able to paint along during his classes, watching his technique really taught me a lot.
