    Default Electrochromatic glass window PC

    Fondly called the gibson.

Anyways it's a super short video, I don't think I ever really posted a video with it all together and working.

And I'm going back over in a few weeks with the whole movie set up and i'll make a complete and awesome video with all the features on the case.

(also 1:24 told you I could get my theory of a simple HDD gauge working)

I take it the glass is reacting with the music? kind of hard to tell what is happening.

Nope that is just leds flashing on and off and the shadows caused by the cabels inside.
The window is meant to go from opaque to clear at the flick of a switch.

    Actually it does both

its got a switch for off/on

and a relay hooked to a photo voltaic sensor that's pointed at one of the CCFL's inside the case.

We tried a dimmer switch so you could in theory adjust how opaque it gets, but well.. its a off/on sorta deal as we discovered.

anyways i know its sort of a quarter assed video, ill get a better one up pretty soon, my rehab is almost done and im walking around pretty well these days. so hopefully ill be back to modding again soon.

Just wondering what happened to this project and promised video ...

I'm going to be working with electrophototinty glass stuff in future projects so just curious about any layman-modder's commentary I can obtain ...
My mind says Technic, but my body says Duplo.

It's still up and going, the guy who owns it moved farther away though, so if i ever make it out there, i'll shoot a fancy video for it.

if you need any details and such, just give me a PM =)

FYI my hips still trashed to this day, walking still sucks
