    I'm definitely looking forward to this. I've been gathering parts for a dieselpunk mod for a few years, but have always known that I wouldn't event start the build until after I graduate.

    Hopefully you don't use my best ideas.

    Default Solved

    Ok, I figured this out. I'm going to buy three of these for my hard drives and mount them externally on the right side panel:



    That frees up three bays internally (which means I can just remove them to make room for cool stuff) and gives me the heat sink look I wanted outside.
